Dj CUTMAN launches a Patreon campaign to support his Internet Radio show

Hey friends, Cutman here. I just launched a campaign with Patreon to support my on-going Internet radio show, This Week In Chiptune. The show has been going strong for 42 consecutive weeks, it given me the opportunity to promote hundreds of chiptune songs. I’d love to keep the show going into the future, but I need a little help to make it the best it can be. Check out the campaign.

PatreonPatreon is like an on-going Kickstarter. You can make a pledge that will be delivered each time I create a new episode. With your help, I’ll continue to be able to showcase the best chiptune music and host the ever growing archive of episodes (now at over 48 hours of music!)

Cheap Dinosaurs – Triangle Trash

Cheap Dinosaurs new album Triangle TrashCheap Dinosaurs, the Philadelphia chiptune supergroup, have launched their first album in three years on Sunday via 8static. Triangle Trash is six incredible tracks by the band, incorporating programmed chiptunes alongside live guitar, drums, and synthesizers.

Cheap Dinosaurs is lead by Dino Lionetti, and features other notable philly chip artists Animal Style, Chipocrite, Bucky and An0va. The band has been performing since 2008.

Two Dj CUTMAN shows in Philly this weekend with MegaRan and Grimecraft

Friday, January 10th
First is the PhilaMOCA, a legendary venue  owned by Diplo. Grimecraft Mega Ran and I will be throwing down video game beats from 8:00PM til midnight. It’s going to be awesome.  [BUY TICKETS]

Saturday, January 11th
Mega Ran and I will be joining the 8static lineup with Cheap Dinosaurs and Auxcide to bring a killer show of original Chiptune music. [BUY TICKETS]

Note! - Color Mechanica Chiptune Album plays on Sega CDYou got to hand it to the innovative nature of chiptune musicians to continue to create new, awesome (and sometimes weird) ways to play  their music.

NOTE! from New York City has created a new chiptune album that will play back on a Sega CD console.  If you’re having trouble locating your old console, you can download Color Mechanica on Bandcamp, and the recordings sound awesome. The truly devoted can pick up the old sega console on ebay for between $50-$100 to get the true chipmusic experience.
