Super Video Game Nightcore Mixtape

The “Artists” over at international video game remixing super group PARTY MEMBERS have just released a brand new Nightcore album, which this writer believes is what it sounds like when you set a youtube video to play back at 1.25 speed.

Nightcore, or “NXC” as folks who have a limited use of their keyboard call it, is popular among dance music fans, millennials, squirrels, certain cats, ghosts who haunt power plants, and that guy who always hogs that good table at the coffee shop on the corner. Seriously, what is it with that guy? He doesn’t even order anything. He just sits there all day staring into his phone like he dropped something into a well and can’t return home without it. Why don’t you let some of the paying customers sit by the window, huh??

Whatever your feelings on Nightcore, you have to admit that this video must have taken a long time to render.

A_Rival and GameChops new Street Fighter Album

HeadBangers is due out this friday, March 25th. The first collaboration from the award-winning music producer A_Rival, best known for his soundtrack to Crypt of The Necrodancer. A_Rival is also a competitive fighting game player, so it seems appropriate his first release on video game dance music label GameChops would be a tribute to the classic themes from Street Fighter. Head To Head Chip Battles in Manchester

GameFaceShow hosted the first ever ChipBattle at Fab Cafe Manchester on February 12th 2016. This was a head-to-head, rap battle style format for gameboy chiptune musicians. The video below is an epic multi-camera shoot with high quality sound that really captures the energy of the battle! Watch two chiptune musicians square off, for only 16 bars each, in three rounds. At the end the crowd decides the winner, but GameFace is also polling their viewers in the YouTube comments and it sounds like there is an upset!
