Do you want to see Dj CUTMAN play a live set this June? Well you’re in luck! Dj CUTMAN will be playing a few shows this summer! At the end of June, on the west coast you can catch him at VidCon, along with a panel and right here in good ol Pennsylvania you can dance yourself silly at the TooManyGames Convention, or you can check him out at ConBravo at the end of July in the great white North!

Ever Wanted a MIDI Synth That Fits In Your Pocket? We Found One!

Have you ever looked at your synth and thought, “I wish this was absolutely tiny!” Well, someone out there did and his name is Tim Jacobs.
First, he created what he claims is the smallest MIDI synth ever. You can check out how he achieved that on his website, Mitxela. That was perhaps too small to be practical, so Jacobs set his sights on making an a mini-MIDI that fits in your pocket, but still plays a tune. So, he decided to see if he could cram a MIDI synth into a USB port. Apparently, he can!

Arcano MIDI NES Chiptune Synth II

Though it doesn’t use actual NES sounds, the Arcano II (‘the successor to the Arcano MIDI NES Chiptune Synthesizer, a project launched on Kickstarter in 2015’) emulates the sounds and effects of the NES with a microcontroller programmed to generate the same sounds and waveforms.

Check out ‘Good Talk’ from (T-T)b!

(T-T)b (“tee-tee-bee” unofficially) has released their debut album this week entitled ‘Good Talk’. The chiptune trio from Boston, MA sites Anamanaguchi, Weezer, and Wavves among some of their influences, which are evident in tracks like ‘Slimers’.

Joey Dussault, his brother Nick and Jake Cardinal from Dinoczar recorded an EP ‘Pizza Planet‘ last year and release their debut through Play It Loud! You can get a sweet t-shirt bundle with an album or even a cassette version!
