Fan favorite Tenkitsune is back with a Future House remix of Undertale / Toby Fox’s iconic theme, Megalovania!

“Composed by the musician and video game developer Toby “Radiation” Fox, featured on Toby’s Earthbound hack and the webcomic series Homestuck, experiencied a rise of popularity after the release of the RPG Undertale in September 2015, inspiring remixes and mash-ups.

First included on the soundtrack to the Earthbound hack Earthbound Halloween Hack, released in 2009, and played during the final boss fight against Dr. Andonuts. The song was later included on the soundtrack to the webcomic Homestuck, first used on the flash animation Wake and was included on its 6th soundtrack release, released in 2011.” (Via KYM)

Producer legend Ephixa fuses EDM and Chiptune to create an Undertale remix that’s truly special.

“Home” is the 12th track in the Undertale Soundtrack. It plays whenever the protagonist is inside Toriel’s Home. The track shares its melody with “Once Upon a Time”. If Toriel is killed, this track is replaced by “Empty House”, which is a slowed down version of “Fallen Down”. It consists of a single guitar sample.(Via Undertale Wiki)

Spindash: A Super Sonic Remix Album from GameChops

Game music record label GameChops has just released Spindash, a Sega-licensed tribute album to the music of Sonic the Hedgehog. Produced by Dj CUTMAN, Spindash features 16 video game remixers spanning diverse styles of dance music, from drum ’n bass to dubstep to trance.

Spindash is a modern reimagination of Sonic the Hedgehog’s most beloved music. Old school fans will recognize themes from Genesis-era favorites like Chemical Plant and Ice Cap Zone. The album also features music from more recent Sonic games, including Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Colors.

Dj CUTMAN has curated talent from across North America and Europe for Spindash. GameChops is known for professionally mastered albums that upgrade classic game music into an entirely new experience.
