ANSI Art – A Long Dead Form of Pixelated Goodness

Sometimes I miss the days of low quality graphics like SNES’s Mode 7 graphics and ANSI art. There was something great about seeing an image not quite resolve properly and get all pixelated. It was so cutting edge to see Bowser fly out from the background, even if he looked like a bunch of blocks when he got to the front of the screen. I loved it then and I love it now.

The Greatest Chiptune Comp in History – Chiptunes = WIN Vol. 3

The chiptune collective and compilation series Chiptunes = WIN has just put out their latest volume, with a whopping 51 TRACKS from chiptune musicians from around the world. I have the pleasure / challenge / nightmare of mastering these tracks together for the volume’s release, it was epic and I’m very happy with how it all turned out.
