San Diego, California – May 20, 2014 – Scarlet Moon Records is thrilled to announce the availability of its highly-anticipated Prescription for Sleep: Game Music Lullabies arrangement album, presenting many of gaming’s greatest melodies arranged to sooth and relax, performed live by saxophonist Norihiko Hibino (known for his contributions to the Metal Gear Solid series, including the iconic “Snake Eater” theme) and pianist AYAKI. Remix Default – A Tribute to the Characters of Bravely Default

remix-default-album-cover-1000x Remix Default is a collaboration between New Jersey musician Ralfington and Philadelphia DJ / producer Dj CUTMAN. Remix Default re-creates the theme music of each of the four main characters from the Bravely Default soundtrack, originally composed by Revo.

Remix Default is a fusion of retro-sounding Chiptunes and futuristic EDM. Ralfington transcribed the songs onto his 3DS using Korg’s DS10 software. Dj CUTMAN mixed and mastered the songs using the popular audio production software Ableton Live.

‘Chiptunes = #SrsBsns’ (Serious Business) features 22 brand new meme-centric tracks (yes, they’re all written about/referencing memes :3 ) from a VERY talented array of chipartists spanning the globe. The premise is ridiculous, but the execution is damn near flawless (these cats ran with the crazy concept so very hard!).  Per the usual, artwork by Foxdragon, track order by Kubbi, and mastering by videogamedj.com’s own Dj CUTMAN.

Why? Because Chiptunes = Serious Business, duh. 8-)
