DJ-R, formerly known as JRazz, returns to GameChops with a remix of the Metroid Prime theme. Metroid Prime, which is the fifth main installment in the Metroid series, is also the first Metroid game to use 3D computer graphics.

‘Metroid Prime is the first of the three-part Prime storyline, which takes place between the original Metroid and Metroid II: Return of Samus. Like previous games in the series, Metroid Prime has a science fiction setting in which players control the bounty hunter Samus Aran. The story follows Samus as she battles the Space Pirates and their biological experiments on the planet Tallon IV. ‘

A remix of to celebrate the release of Final Fantasy XV! This  banger is from Chjolo, best known for his future bass and chillout remixes. Tonberry Takeout is a nightcore / drum n bass Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (released in 2003 for the Nintendo GameCube) is a spin-off of the Final Fantasy series. The game spawned a metaseries of the same name. The Tonberry is one of the most recognizable Final Fantasy adversaries. Usually shrouded in brown cloth and wielding a chef’s knife, Tonberries pop up in every Final Fantasy game after FFV.

Cave Story, or Doukutsu Monogatari, is a charming Japanese side-scrolling platformer game developed by Studio Pixel.  The game is available on PC, Linux, Mac,  Nintendo 3DS, DSi, and as Cave Story+ 3DS which differs from the 3DS version.

This is a feel good, deep house remix of the heartfelt theme from the game. ‘The game was and continues to be met with near-universal critical acclaim, and many consider it to be the quintessential indie game, citing its one-man development team and influence on the gaming world.’ (Via Game Story Wiki)
