Arcien’s Hopes & Dreams is an Epic Journey Through the Music of Undertale

The GameChops red carpet is rolling out for new artist Arcien as he debuts his Undertale remix album–Hopes & Dreams. The album was released alongside an animated music video.

Your Best Nightmare comes from Arcien’s full-length Undertale album Hopes & Dreams. The album has been in the works for a long time, starting all the way back in October 2015 when the game was first released. Hopes & Dreams is a remix album dedicated to Undertale by Arcien, a music producer from Denmark. It’s the second Undertale remix album released by GameChops. In contrast to Holder’s Undertale Remixed, which focused largely on character themes, Hopes & Dreams sets out to adapt the setting and story of Undertale in a musical form.

From the future house intro, “Once Upon a Time,” to the 80’s synthwave “Thunder Snails,” to the dark, drum and bass boss battle “Your Best Nightmare,” Arcien hits all the major plot points of the Undertale story. Thoughtful transitions make the album a joy to listen to, front to back.

Hopes & Dreams launched with an animated music video for Your Best Nightmare, edited by Dj CUTMAN. The video features animation by NCH Productions & Skybase and Nezot Leo, and features artwork of the final boss by Palidoozy Art, and features awesome cosmic footage from the NASA Solar Dynamics Observatory.
