Smiletron – Eclipse

Chipmusician Smiletron has recently made the move to Bandcamp, offered up lossless versions of many of his previous releases, along with a new piece, Eclipse.

Combining melow chiptune lines with acoustic piano and crunchy percussions, Smiletron continues to raise the bar in both production and composition. Smiletron sounds like no one else; creative, emotive, and powerful, he is an asset to the worldwide chiptune community. With Eclipse, he continues to move forward.

ChipMusicChronicle presents Blip 2012

The ChipMusicChronicle brings us the entire weekend of BlipFestival 2012 in a single YouTube Playlist. The whole show from front-to-back has been captured from a spot in the crowd, it’s the closet thing to being there. My heart breaks a thousand times for missing it this year, but thankfully I spent my time playing awesome music with new friends in Austin. Thank the Chiptune Demi-Gods for The ChipMusic Chronicle.

The ChipMusicCronicle is managed by Emily Feder. Add the Chronicle on Facebook and subscribe on YouTube.

JavaScript GameBoy Color

Rare is a website this cool. The JavaScript GameBoy Color Game Center is a web-based GBC emulator that hosts a handful of awesome GameBoy Color Games and requires no download to play. Using HTML5 and JIT engines this site offers a desktop-like emulation experience right inside your browser window. It even includes the LSDj demo, for browser-based chiptuning. Awesome.
