Mykah, The UK’s coolest chiptune/dance DJ and GameChops veteran, returns with a bittersweet farewell to Splatoon’s fan favorite event in Long Live Splatfest. Sounding like it came from the game itself, Mykah’s signature hard chiphouse style fits right in with the Splatoon soundtrack.
This week, we wrap up video series of our Undertale remix album by the amazing Arcien. If you haven’t heard it yet, Hopes & Dreams is a remix album of Undertale music, piloting us through the story with emotional and story-inspired music. Arcien captures different scenes and feelings from Undertale through a host of musical styles.
The GCAP program is available to content creators, streamers, and journalists who have a focus or passion for video games and music. Ambassadors will be helping GameChops reach larger audiences while getting free music, exclusive early access, and other benefits which will be developed over the course of the program.
GameChops is an independent record label, based in Philadelphia, and if you’re accepted we just ask that you share music on release day. If you receive advance copies from GCAP, it always helps if you purchase and post reviews for songs you enjoy. With GCAP you can help us share some of the world’s best video game music.
If you’ve ever looked inside a music box, or owned one with exposed mechanics you’ve no doubt seen the cylindrical mechanism that produces the music. Similar to that of a player piano as well, now it has been reimagined into a tool to compose digitally.
A Bill Moggridge design award winning project, XOXX Composer was designed by Axel Bluhme a Swedish interactive designer. XOXX uses much the same principal of the music box’s mechanics, except instead of only being able to play one song ad infinitum, you can compose new tracks in real time.
